DVLA letterbox?

Hi Gang, anyone know if there is a facility for dropping my medical form off at Swansea tomorrow or Sunday instead of trusting postmen?
Got my dates wrong, and have to get my form in by Monday :open_mouth: My fault entirely; medical is booked for tomorrow but need to make sure it’s there on Monday so I can keep working for my pittance :wink:

I think DVLA’s mail is delivered in bulk according to postcode so they probably haven’t got a letter box.
Best bet is send it special delivery from post office on Saturday AM, cost you a few quid but it’ll be there for Monday.

Get to post office this morning mate and get it posted Special Delivery, guaranteed by 1pm monday

There is a letter box for dvla post at the entrance to the dvla in Morriston.you can use 24/7

The DVLA can spend a further five months sending you your entitlement back after you have jumped through the hoops completing it!
I have chronic heart disease and fill in all the paperwork and complete stress tests & medicals on time every two years. The wonderful people at the DVLA then spend ages sending it back to me and I get told not to worry and keep on driving. being a few days late can surely not matter??

As long as the DVLA has your application form you can continue to drive even if your licence has expired, as long as you are confident that any new medical condition will not cause them to refuse your application.

Thanks Roy. Flew the medical, no probs :slight_smile: Just gonna drop it into Swansea tomorrow (and go out somewhere for lunch with the Missus) and crack on.

:bulb: IMHO, he’s confusing a memory lapse (like accidentally forgetting a date) with a deliberate act (like pulling your card) and an attempt to cover it up.
