I know the DVLA have (deservedly) taken flak for various fiascos in the past, but credyd (see what I did there) where it’s due, I sent my faulty card back last Monday and got a shiny new one today.
Fair play to them, I say.
Mind you, I haven’t tried it yet so I could be speaking too soon…

Sent mine back WEDNESDAY and got mine back this morning.
Updated photo - my licence photocard had been changed whilst I’d had my tacho card, but same expiry date 
Even better, always nice to hear positive stories
