Does anybody know where I can get a pair of round amber/red lights like the Dutch boys have on their mirrors have tried eBay and CDC to no avail.

Holland?
You could try FSB:NL, I think the things you want are like old Bedford MK indicators, cant imagine why anyone would want them hanging on mirror arms and blinding ones eyes all night but each to their own I suppose.

I couldn’t agree more I wanted them for a different reason but they are just what I need ! As you say old Bedford tk indicators but can’t find them either!!
www.truckershop.nl will sell them and are one of the most helpful bunch of lads iv ever come across. went in there to get mats for my lorry and he sent a bloke to there german shop to pick them up while i sat and had a coffee and a chat with the owner.
Is it just me or do others think these look really nasty and horrible? I have no objection to bling, shiny bits and even tasseled curtains but I feel that there are some cracking motors out there that are quite frankly let down by these lights.

Tbh I can’t picture what the OP is on about
blow the lights give me a Bedford, oh the memories, breakdowns, being overtaken by everyone, boiling in summer, freezing in winter, still, short enough to use the shelf as the bunk and the exhaust manifold on the 330 was an instant pre heated oven, bliss.

Yep, you were right!
Kakapoopoo IMO lol
Spot on bars at Stoke or ring Darren at Kelsa pal.
Lorries from the Basque region used to have them, it’s possibly a copy cat thing from that firm that ran Macks out that way. US trucks have them and Macks are from the US
They’re a PITA, had them on the first Peterbilt I had and I hated them

I’ve never driven a lorry with them fitted but I’d imagine that in the dark the drivers side one would be a pain and very distracting.
I just think they spoil the look of a truck. I suppose it’s a bit like the owner of a brand new Aston Martin standing admiring his achingly beautiful car and thinking "do you know what? There’s something missing! Oh I know, I’ll take £500 down to Halfords and buy some really tasteful stickers and bits to put on it. That should do the trick! "
As you say, at night they are awful, any dirt on the side windows makes them opaque with the glow from the lights bouncing off
