Philips in Eindhoven had several Kromhout-chassis in their fleet…this registration is from 1952

This is bloody good:

Any idea what this is?

What can be said…the tractor/trailer has a registration from 1955…no idea on the
make of the tractor though…I assume the transportcompany Winder of Limmen is
the entrepreneur for this heavy job. The name Lindeteves is a combination of both
founders Mr. Van der Linde and Mr. Teves. Later in a joint venture with R.S. Stokvis
more automotive applications were the case, even in what nowadays is Indonesia.

Ruston (from Lincoln) was a supplier for marine, both generators and diesel-engines.
Also Ruston-Hornsby does some bells ringing as well as excavators and draglines. Later
this group was absorbed by the worldwide group of GE

During some clean-up I found the following Kromhout with a DAF-trailer. As said Philips had quite some
in their extensive fleet.
