Dutch Hired Vehicle Can you use UK Authorization

Hi,

Have had a problem with one of our vehicles in Germany over the week-end and need to hire a truck in Germany, will
we be covered under the UK “O” Licence Authorization

Can the driver use the Blue international authorization permit whilst the truck is in the garage for the hired vehicle.

I would have thought so as long as it is Insured , and street legal
which all are in Germany ,by the way is it fitted with a OBU unit
or are you having to do the booking manually,you will need to have the
original hire Document in the vehicle,at all times.

thanks for the info, the header should have said German not Dutch, anyway, if it’s not fitted with an OBU unit then I will get the
tax manually.
