Alright fellas, can someone tell me if Dunbia have a place in Felinfach as well as Lampeter?
I’ve looked online and their website says they have a place in Lampeter but my notes say ‘Dunbia Lampeter, Felinfach’ as the address. The postcode is different to what they have on their site too but I’ve heard that they may be using some old cheese factory in Felinfach on a temp basis so think this is where I’ve got to be. Anyone know if they are in the cheese place?
What route would be best coming from Brum, I guess it’s gonna be quite hilly round that way so any ideas would be great, thanks.
They are indeed using the old cheese place. Just follow the road from Lampeter to Aberaeron and you can’t miss it on right. Next to Volac. Say hello to my Dad if you see a Brian Thomas truck, he shunts between there and Dunbia Llanybydder.
As for route from Brum I’d probably go Shrewsbury, Welshpool, Llangurig, along A44 to Aberystwyth then down coast to Aberaeraon then head in towards Lampter. It’ll be in left in that case. It’s hard going and there are no easy routes there but enjoy the magnificent scenery. You’ll be going through some of the most beautiful countryside in the world in my opinion. I may be a little biased

Hi, do you know Brian? I used to drive with him back in the Oriel Jones days. I live in NZ now but have great memories of driving at speed on the hanging meat…

You may know my Dad then. Mick Vernon. Used to be mechanic in garage, spend all day fixing trucks then all night driving them at ridiculous speeds down the M4 to London and back along the A40 and through the Forest of Dean. Was a proper white knuckle ride back then.

he should do, his dad works for him
Not anymore he doesn’t! A much better job came up.
Who’s he on for now? My wife works in the offices at Dunbia and sometimes deals with some of the drivers so I told her to keep an eye out for your dad. No wonder she said she never met him. Ha.
