With regards to your question above, can I give a bit of advice please? Do a years work before you consider going alone!! Remember this is a hard and often crap lifestyle and not everyone sticks at it once they start fulltime.

im working at various haulage yards at the moment the likes of DND, Halewood International (Lambrini) and now Palace Chemicals (NO ADR) needed btw, jays doing his class 1 4hr lesson sunday paying for it himself, hes got a great job aswell, he works for a firm in burscough on a 12 wheeler the lucky sods on £9.90 ph lol, one thing ive been told though by some guys driving class 1’s dont rush into it, get experience first on a class2 and go from there, but if you feel ready go for it
ps: just signed up with an agency who do long runs to scotland & cornwall with 1 night out £7.75ph plus £30.00 night-out money…Happy Days

How many of them can you do in a week? 
lol, monday to saturday… go out monday, back tuesday, out weds back thursday, out friday back saturday saturday they paying time and a half, been great so far… long runs but brilliant
seen a job for a class 1 in our area terrible pay £5.50ph
