DSA LGV annual pass rates 2007 to 2011

dft.gov.uk/publications/dsa- … stics-lgv/

It’s taken me a while to trawl through these statistics but I’m proud to say that my centre comes out in 1st place for the Midlands and 3rd in England - beaten by 0.7%!!

This is from the statistics provided by DSA for the period 1.4.10 - 31.3.11 for LGV tests.

It’s clear that if you live in the remote parts of Scotland you’ve got it made!!!

Good luck all, Pete

garretts green 38.8% total gives me a sence of achievement i passed my C and C+E there deffinatly not easy !

Reckon ill take a trip to stornoway to do my C+E

Just remember those statistics are for all LGV tests taken and for the ones that were passed which can be interperetted in many ways

take 100 tests and 50 candidates

10 pass 1st time = 10 tests
30 pass 2nd time = 60 tests
10 pass 3rd time = 30 tests

20% of candidates passed 1st time
50% of tests were passed

OR

6 pass 1st time = 6 tests
38 pass 2nd time = 76 tests
6 pass 3rd time = 18 tests

12% of candidates passed 1st time
50% of tests were passed

In both of those examples the average is a second time test pass

I’m sure others can put different examples which could show different outcomes
