As much as many of us like a few scoops in our spare time plenty of these esteem euro boys seem to think it’s acceptable to get ■■■■■■ and drive.
I’m not a ■■■■■■■■ drinker but would need to be pretty smashed to start reversing on a motorway if I was driving

I believe Volvo also do something similar. As well as Scrapia, Page 50, Part Number 2039022 scania.com.au/images/scania% … 357535.pdf
I think all truck manufacturers have these AS AN OPTION. They should be mandatory.
While I agree that they should be mandatory, the likelihood of you getting them implemented and fitted to every wagon is slim. Unless there is a sweeping new law like there was with the tacho unit then these are always going to be an optional extra.
Forget little windows in passenger doors, and extra mirrors, and extra side guards, and pro-personnel airbags fitted to all corners. This as mandatory equipment would save lives and accidents…

Should he have had a banksman er peerson■■?
God have they got firemen working for them again mmm maybee the heets off.
saw this happening wednesday night on the m5, northbound junction 13 was closed and there was a stupid diversion, poorly signposted, came up to one of the turnings and some numpty reversing his truck back round the left hand turn, outside lane, because he’d obviously meant to take the right hand fork.
I’ll see if it’s still on my dashcam and not overwritten, didnt see who it was at the time.
Ive been doing only when have to do agency work for Stobarts Dagenham… Visiting Their Rugby Depot …I’ve told my experience of working for them on this site their flagrant abuse of the law…and in all that time have only met drivers who have a limited knowledge of the English language… For my true insight on this company only one member chose to ridicule my comments which are based on fact…EH …Mr Colin Scottish. Where is your comment on this one…

Based on the posts you’ve submitted in the past I dont think you’re in a very good place to be insulting anyone’s grasp of English.
Theirs is probably better than yours

Would have been better off doing a "U"ey really. He could have avoided toll and got parked up before “last orders”.

Apparently one of their flip flop drivers from Eastern Europe, the ones I’ve encountered seem a bit brain dead when sober, like the ■■■ who decided to park up for his break across the entrance to Corley N/B truck park around 2:30 this morning! Why they insist on using so many flip flops I (as an ESL driver) don’t know, they are doing a great job of trashing both the fleet and name (if it could get worse!) of ESL, in my experience the vast vast majority of ESL drivers are just like the rest of us, professionals doing a job to pay the bills and put food on the table.
I was in P&G Thurrock last night and sat for literally 10minutes whilst one of “our” flip flops tried and tried and tried to back into a bay that had empty spaces on both sides, I dread to think how he’d have got on had it been a tighter spot.
Like Brits are the best drivers and can park perfectly, give me a brake. Many of you cant even pass a stupid exam in manual truck…
Don’t judge for all drivers by few bad apples.
Yup, you normally brake when you stop … BREAK is what you were referring to right? … if you don’t like the UK leave you are not forced to stay there, but wait … you won’t do that.

Thanks for correcting me, yes break, not brake.
And where under my profile picture is written UK■■?
Truth hurts isn’t it?Check newbie section, today British lorry drivers can’t pass a test in manual truck.
TBH Dolph I don’t think the type of gearbox is a contributing factor to this feckwits reversing more to do with the amount of alcohol consumed. On gearbox types manuals are on their way out whether we like it or not, an R620 with a manual box is 3,000 Euro more than the auto box so unless you specifically need a manual box chances are you are not going to get it.
I would be very happy to do an alcohol test before every shift, and there is no reason why it should not be implemented by law.
If you are driving wagons during the week, don’t drink. If you cant go a few days without alcohol, then you have a problem in my book.
