Drugs!!!!!

No not the illegal type! :open_mouth:

Painkillers, Cold cures, and all them types!

If you read the bottle of some of these drugs it quite clearly states on some, DO NOT DRIVE, or operate machinery.
Not many people will go to the local Doctor to get a sick note when taking these over the counter medicines.
Do you still drive taking these?
Would your boss let you work in the yard if you told him the drugs you are taking, state you should not drive?
Or do you just drive anyway?

Anyone know the legal position if you have an unfortunate, while taking over the counter drugs?

This is worth a look.

Would your TM be happy if you told him you cannot drive but you are fit for work?

Just looked this up in BNF, ( the British National Formulary,) this is basically a dictionary of medications, that gives all the information that any, Nurse, Pharmacist etc could need, ( Doctors normally use Mimms.)
The recommended wording for labels.
! WARNING MAY CAUSE DROWSINESS. to be used on preparations for children containing antihistamines, or other preparations given to children where the warnings of label 2 on driving or alcohol would not be appropriate.
