I really can’t understand why somebody wearing a hi viz or bluetooth ear piece would bother any right minded person? And maybe those who resorts to insulting those that do, should have a think about who’s the knob or numpty?

Is that like people from Norfolk who are all related to each other? Web feet and one eye in the middle of their forehead

Possibly, although as I don’t come from Norfolk I don’t know for sure.

I believe it applies to those that were born and inbred in the west of the county. I wasn’t born in Norfolk either so I don’t really know the answer.

It’s up to the individual whether he or she wears it when driving, I don’t wear mine but if you are doing short runs or local deliveries then why not.

What really annoys me is the dirty stinking greasy yellow coat mob who look like recovery drivers, the heaters are good enough to burn your feet.
I like to look like I drive them, not fix them.

When I was over in 2010 I was told so much about H&S, I didnt take any chances, I wore my Hi Viz and a full face crash helmet

Thats the great choice we have here, please your self…some do…some dont…but i have lately been wearing it all day cos it gets on my nerves having to keep taking it off…putting it on…and its a bit difficult at the best of times over a fleece, the big coats i cant stand, and could never drive in one, i do however keep it in the boot of my car, just for weddings, or sunday best…

dont wear mine cos im not a bin man .but.couldnt really give a toss
i have wore it in services before just to state that im a dirty f.ing mess cos im at work and not cos i a tramp

Time and time again this thread comes up, lets not forget I saw a Stobart driver in his Pink Hi-Viz the other day. There, that’s both the usual topics combined.

you missed out the “so called professional drivers”

I hope this helped

and the children?

are`nt man auto boxes awful

I have a nice collection of them from all the different firms Ive worked for on the agencys.

I put it on in the morning, then just forget about it. Plus I cant be arsed taking it off and on allday so I look cool in work. (■■■■ that) What a sad ■■■■ I am for forgeting that I have my hi-vis on, wish I was as cool as the guys who take theres off. Knobs!

None taken :unamused:

i know lads that drive miles and miles in them :unamused:
i always used to take mine off, but now i wear a hiviz polo shirt i have no choice… well not till it warms up a little

i only wear my run me overcoat in some places when they insist, but i draw the line at driving in one, that’s just a risk to yourself, and other road users.
