I’m very well thank you, loving life and not missing driving. Hope you are well and things are good?

I am well and things are good. Started my first class 1 job after passing on the 8th September 3 weeks ago. Not pushed or working silly hours and it’s 1-2 drops a day.

drive a rigid with a drag coupling fitted

That’s a great way of looking at it!!!

I like it and it makes sense!! Same thing theoretically (as far as driver licensing is concerned anyway) but an easier explanation.

I have a C and can drive wag&drag
just to throw the cat amongst the pigeons

If my truck is taxed as a six axle combination, am I allowed to drive with the lift axles up?

Ducks and runs for cover.

Definitely not, you’ve admitted it now, if we’re lined up (solo) along Park Lane, it’s wet & the lights go green, you’ve got to keep the lift axle down, then we can go for it !

Guess who’s gonna win ? LOLs

Yes, but you must make sure you don’t take your break sitting in the drivers seat. Even if you’re double manning, you’ll have to sit on your mates lap.
