Was in the supermarket the other day and picked up a packet of a gravy product similar to OXO, was surprised to see an ad on the back of the packet promoting the Police and community relations, asked the assistant about this strange advert and she replied, “ it’s more commonly know as the laughing stock”.

I went on a truckers forum winding up a few dumb arsed truckers, they think they know it all you know on their 10 quid or whatever an hour.
Tried to tell them we were popular with the public and that we were providing a good service (roars of laughter off the others) Hey …get this, I even had one who actually stuck up for me . and they started arguing amongst them selves in the end.
…but I blinded the others with science feeding them the official corporate b/s about resources, think I got away with it with one or two, …they aint that intelligent you know.
Anyway lets go out and catch a few truckers drinking coffee and eating their sarnies, …Oh yeh keep away from that lay by that is a truck crime hotspot, couldn’t be arsed with the paperwork.
And hey hey hey!!!..Let’s be careful out there.

I wouldn’t lower myself by admitting I was chatting online to truck drivers.

Always make me howl when a traffic cop hammers past me on the motorway doing a ton plus to get to the next exit to go back on the opposite carriageway to attend an incident. In the meantime I’ve passed opposite the incident and there are already half a dozen cop cars and other emergency vehicles there. Then up ahead on the opposite carriageway the said tear ars£ appears still driving like his ars£ is on fire. Ffs

I’m sure if it was you or your family involved in an accident, you’d want all available resources to get on scene as quickly as possible?

If it was me or my family involved in the accident I’d want the ambulance and possibly the fire service there asap; but whilst the police have a job to do, that could wait until any life threatening matters have been attended to by the real emergency services as opposed to the emergency prevention and clearing up afterwards service.

That shows an ignorant lack of understanding of the job that the police do at an accident scene.
