Ooh that was below the belt ! so i shall retort likewise, i can do that legally ! in my scania 143, or either of my new2 man xxl, or all3 of my fh12 460 globetrotters, or in either of my 7.5t dafs, quicker in either of my 2transits alot quicker in my merc sprinter, , slower in my a sereis erf, and noiser in my c sereies erf, qicker in the wife saab, but slower in my landrover, but i prefer the plane, evn if it is easy jet and not mine !

Personally, i have always prefered the caen crossing,but i dont think cherbourg would be much further up the road, i can also do a more direct and non toll route from caen whereas, cherbourg needs a bit more tolls to go direct, having said that, its been a long time since i have done cherbourg so maybe its changed?.Im not up to date with that port.I used to prefer caen as it was easier to hide from the doanes there…
