Driving plus Thornton's Langley mill

Has anyone worked at this place? Friend of mine keeping eye open for me,recons the 4 hour induction is not paid tho

Think you need a license

Am trying to get it back, actually holier than tho

If you are a genuine poster which I ha e no idea if you are, you have already asked a question very similar on a recent post.

As for whether the induction tike is paid you would have to take that up with Driving plus as that’s between you and them.

Most driving assessments include basic tacho and road regs questionnaires and about an hour on the road doing our circuit, which consists of a610, M1, a38 and some a and b roads in a rather big loop. If successful at passing the driving and questionnaires then you may have some H&S forms to fill it, but even dozy could get most of the answers right on them, the answers are all in the safe system of work which stop people having accidents honest!

As a side note we are ramping up again in a week or so for Easter peak which will be about 4 weeks, after 4th at we will be back down to our normal fleet and our normal staff plus a few agency bods which we use quite regularly when possible.

Again we will ramp up some time October ish for Christmas and rinse and repeat year after year.

Although not on that particular site, every assessment/induction I’ve done for DP on a DHL site is paid 8hrs, wether it takes 1hr or 4hrs. The latest was paid last week for the 1hr spent doing the investigation / retraining for the incident that happened.
Once your assessed on that site means that your clear to work on any site within the DHL network

As Peirre said, I’ve done a couple previous and been paid 8 hours, DP are a good agency if you know the right people with the DHL site you work. If you pass the assessment then it lasts a year on any DHL site as mentioned.
