Just got my licence back and has C1, C as expected but it also has a new category that it didn’t have before.
It has the B1 category on it which I didn’t have before. It also says I haven’t passed it, whereas others have the date they passed their car test as the date they passed there B1 licence.
I know its not a big deal as B category covers B1 just seems a little odd.
B1 covers 4 wheeled vehicles under 550kg afaik. Seems to me like prep to reduce new car licences to nothing more than toy cars.
Assuming your previous licence was a photo card and not an old paper only one, it definitely would have had B1 on it, you got it when you passed your car test.
I’ve got the B entitlement just not the B1.
I think this happened once I sent my licence in after passing my class 2.
