Will euro 3 vehicles be allowed into Europe after 01st January.
states that we need to apply for ECMT Permits.

I wouldn’t mind driving a well looked after truck of that age.

We have a 164 580 Classic running to Europe every week just had an engine rebuild at over 2 million km be good for a few more years yet

You’re knackered then.

Yes really, Euro 3.
Pulling racing car trailer to circuits.
Only cover 25,000 KMs a year.
Have Four Tractor units for European travel, one Euro 3 remainder Euro 4

That ruling would/should contravene the Vienna Convention 1968 ?.

You may find that because you are not delivering goods you may not require the same paperwork as if you were.

Apparently Mont Blanc and Frejus have now banned euro 3 and 4 trucks, so you might have to re-think things if you plan to race in Italy.

As for ECMT permits, I’ve been reading up on them, found something that seemed to suggest you don’t need a permit if you carrying your own goods or on a restricted O’licence, although it seemed a bit ambiguous in the way it was written, so I would get conformation on it.

**Item 9)**Transport for non‑commercial purposes of properties, accessories and animals to or from theatrical, musical, film, sports or circus performances, fairs or fetes, and those intended for radio recordings, or for film or television production.(6)

**Item 10)**The transport of goods on own account.(7)

The ambigous bit was at the bottom

6.Germany entered a reservation under item 9).
7.Austria, Belarus, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, the Russian Federation, Sweden and Turkey entered a reservation under item 10).

You are delivering goods, your importing and re exporting the same goods still counts

That would require an ATA carnet.
It used to before we became part of the EU.
