I do removals and work a lot of hours sumtimes but don’t drive much how many hours can I legally work?
If you use a Tachograph then your max shift is 15 hours a shift X3 a week!
48 total working hours a week unless you are in an opt-out workforce agreement.

On any day when you drive to EU regulations you should have completed a daily rest period of at-least 11 hours within the 24 hour period from the start of shift, this effectively gives you a spread-over from start to end of the shift of 13 hours.
The daily rest period can be reduced to 9 hours three times between weekly rest periods effectively giving you a spread-over from start to end of the shift of 15 hours three times between weekly rest periods.
When you ask “how many hours can I legally work?” do you mean how many hours a day a week a month?, it would be helpful if you was a bit more specific about what you want to know so we can give you a proper answer

replace ‘total’ with ‘average’.
If I worked 48 hour weeks and slept more I wouldn’t make so many mistakes on here.

As you say it’s an average 48 hours per week rather than a maximum 48 hours per week, also there’s no opt-out from the average 48 hour week for the RT(WT)R

No it’s not, as far as I can see it’s the employers who bother about it the most.
If my memory serves me correctly it’s one of the few things dreamt up by the French that we tried to stay out of
