Apparently there is a demand for driving instructors at the moment.

Pay isnt great but I imagine the hours are fantastic.
I have heard that they are ‘overworked’ but somehow I doubt that.
I think I’d personally I’d be far too generous. I know with this type of job they really care about you maintaining the ‘average’ e.g. I think 60% of people pass on their first attempt. So if your average pass rate is above that your under pressure to fix it.
To me though. I’d pass a driver if he clipped a cerb or missed a mirror check. To me it is all about knowing they have a good awareness of the road and drive sensibly.
