I am thinking of driving for firms doing the ex comme countrys,
As i will be new to this ,especialy carne ,
Can anyone put me right on what to do on reaching boarders,
Well, as from 1st May, you won`t have to do anything, as far as I know, as the borders will come down when the new countries join the eu.
If you are planning to go before 1st May then let us know where you are going, and we`ll try to do our best to give you a few pointers.

If you are going to be driving on a carnet, I cant imagine which commie countries you will be going to! Czech and Hungary have used T1 for several years and the members of the EU are all here as from May 1st
Austria

Denmark
Estonia
France
Germany
Greece
Holland
Hungary
Ireland
Italy
Latvia
Lithuania
Luxembourg
Malta
Poland

Cheers for that , Just that i heard it was a nightmare for
paperwork on the boarders, and if it was wrong you could
be there for days
He might be going to :

First of all you gotta find a company thats running down there…most of the u.k. companies dont do it any more …the dreaded willie betz to name one have got it sewn up…cos they are on cheap wages and have undercut everyone else…
if you do manage to find someone…it will be an O.Driver subbing for people like davies turner…so when you get to the borders go into the office…carnet in hand…wallet in the back pocket…and shout peservank
…and someone will take notice… …seriously…just follow the other drivers…or as a new boy…
dont be afraid to ask
…GOOD LUCK
