Not sure about Alcohol consumtion of Scintiests,but American got now the Idea to build a Elevator to the Moon.
Its a Freight Elevator,and on the Moon are Robots doing the Mining.
Well,how to think that could be done? If you got an Idea you even may win a Nobel Price.
But im not sure how a Robot will drive a Truck,…on the Moon,…
But they listen serious about it.
I think its a load of old codswallop…building a structure thats going from earth to the moon…both moving objects…which is the first obstacle…the next one is having a huge platform dangling from space to earth, gravity pull would rip it to bits meaning it would never stay in one place…and the sheer volume of such a structure means it would never withstand so much weight, thousands upon thousands of tons of metal, probably looking at the worlds tallest building, then multiply that by 10.000 times…sometimes scientists live in their own world, and get huge amounts of money to come up with crazy ideas, som e work, most dont…better spending the money on curing the ills of the planet we presently live on.
Dead on with that Truckyboy just look at that thing they put on Mars last week I bet what that cost would have went a long way to helping Americas social problems. All governments seem able to pull money out of clouds to do stuff like that yet when it comes to things that are really needed there is never any money. Eddie.

I was dis-loading some “art” at a gallery in the self-proclaimed centre of the universe not long back. The man was jumping up and down like a kid at Christmas and being a prize mouth organ until I said: “amazing how we can always find millions to spend on useless crap, but I had to watch as cancer took my mum away from me because the research people have to beg for funds…”
Fortunately for him, he shut his gob at that.
