God I hear you !!!
setting up to make as easy as poss for reverse is crucial , take it nice and slow dont even put your foot on the accelerator just use the clutch till it bites, i used to over cook the bend all the time as was trying to rush in , was always correcting and thats presents problems in its self , best training i ever had was going out with another driver and watching him position the truck and trailer before he even started to reverse , I also find imagining a line that I can follow with the trailer wheels following that line in small turns of the wheel are all thats needed if you have enough space , and always get out at least once but thats my lack of confidence in myself that I am where I need to be , 7 or 8 times out of 10 your ok but always check lol , the more reverses you get under your belt the easier it gets until one day you find that your not thinking oh god which way do I turn the wheel it just kinda happens and you get the feeling of it , good luck with getting a chance it will come honest
