Driving and manual labour

Carryfast:
Lack of exercise, including any and every excuse possible to get out of physical education periods at school ( thanks for all the sick notes mum  ) hasn’t done me any harm so far.

Well, apart from the fact you’ve been off sick 20 years

thanks for these answers, some good ideas on here.
ive actually done removals for 7 years before, and yeah i know i mentioned physical work but not up for that again for a number of reasons, and yeah i am trying to look after my health a bit more, part of the reason i dont wanna just be only driving all the time to be honest.
if im still gonna be driving in a couple of years ill be doing my class 1 so the car transporter side of things sounds very good,im reckoning id need a good bit of experience for that though.
ill be keeping my eyes and ears open for these events organisers aswell.
theres some good ideas on here for the future, for now though im gonna still be getting soaked chucking old car tyres onto my truck

I’ve always viewed the physical exercise and health link like the bs climate change agenda.Lack of exercise, including any and every excuse possible to get out of physical education periods at school ( thanks for all the sick notes mum  ) hasn’t done me any harm so far. While the handball work I did have to do in the job especially later in life has by doctor’s advice done ( a lot )more damage to my health in wrecking my back than any good.I probably would have ended up crippled in my 30’s if I’d have dome a lot more of that instead of all the years mainly sitting driving on trunking work. The fact is for all the medical science bs the human body is a very frail badly designed piece of junk when it’s used for heavy work.Especially in terms of the skeletal structure and joints like spinal discs, hips and knees and even feet.

more than likely the lack of/avoiding exercise all your life left it too weak and frail to handle anything other than trunking. The physical work you did do was probably done with terrible form which can wreck any joint/muscle.

Is it any wonder lorry drivers are considered thick by the general public with the crap you post daily.
