Driving a LHV through Central London

    There’s a flaw in your master plan in that if we’ve got steam trains running through the channel tunnel and through the alps it’s going to get a bit smoky after a while.Maybe if we give all footplate crews air breathing equipment that might satisfy elf and safety but I would’nt bet on it unless they’ve got lots of spare ones hanging in the cab.ZB double standards I call that when they tell me that I can’t run a clean running two stroke diesel through the Blanc or Frejus.  :laughing:But they’ve already tried that idea in a place called Russia and now they’re finding out that trucks and cars can do the job better than trains and buses.

We wouldn’t be using the channel tunnel, things called “train ferries” would be reintroduced. These
would be built in UK, like a lot more things used to be and still could be if we unshackled ourselves
from the EU thus saving loads of taxpayers money which would be better spent on providing facilities
for some proper British industry like we used to have when I was a lad.

As regards Russia, Siberia could be the ideal place to send all our useless politicians and other parasites.

They’d probably be built in Finland like all the rest and I could believe that the rail freight lot might just be daft enough to do that instead of using the tunnel or instead even better letting me run a fleet of roadtrains using the ferries we’ve already got. :open_mouth:

Don’t forget what ■■■■ Denby said in interview!

I haven’t. Was it “[zb] in the woodpile” when speaking Jeremy Whine?

Yup

Just take a drive from New York down to Florida and you’d know where the phrase originated from.

What makes you think they would have them in siberia? they’ve got enough political criminals already!
