Driving a 7.5 tonner tomorrow

Any tips lads?

Don’t crash it

Take night out gear.

Do they have limiters? Is it car speed limits?

Know your place…

Hi viz to be worn at all times :sunglasses: :sunglasses: :sunglasses:

Don’t put more than 3 tons on it, it’s not an HGV.

ditch it and get an artic eg a REAL truck

I’m a bit worried about turning it round, do you think I should ring them before I arrive to be on the safe side?

Nah just do as I do. Flick it round on the handbrake. …

Just remember its smaller. It will slide when empty. And it’s great fun drifting them.
As I did today and got a rollocking of a site manager.
Was fun thou

Big van :grimacing:

Make sure you slice the nose off every other truck when you cut back in.

Totally genuine mate. It gives strong winds too. should I just open one curtain at a time?

I’m sorry but this is a ■■■■ take.

just remember when you goto fuel and all the gweatbig class one guys are qued up behind a stobarts/flipflop/agency driver whos taking his thirty on the pump you can nip into the normal car side fill up and be on your way also when you arrive at your favorite chuck waggon and its full of big bad class ones you can squeeze in and sort your food . not forgetting when all your mates are qued up on the M5 cos some weekender has flipped his wobbley box you can nip off down all those weight and width restricted roads they cant and be home and gone nice and early

enjoy and remember size isnt everything :grimacing:

Refer to it as a van amongst any other 7.5t drivers. It’ll strike a nerve

Don’t forget to tell every class one driver you meet that you usually drive an artic
