Driving 18tonne truck into Central London before 7am

Ive driven into london a few times before but never before 7am.
I have to do a delivery on Curtain Road at 6am.
I heard the London lorry ban only affects trucks over 18tonnes.

Is this correct as I dont want to be hit with a big fine.

As a regular driver in london and a LLC permit holder, i can say it does affect hgv’s over 18t… in fact alot of the roads were reduced to 16.5t… You need to go onto their web site and download the map… it will show you the roads you are allowed down…

Ah i forgot to say i will be driving an 18tonne lorry. So in theory my truck will not be affected by the lorry ban. Is that correct?

I did a London run yesterday (Sunday). The lorry ban permitted route up the A3 was marked with blue circular signs with 16.5t shown.

However, this might be outdated signage, and the limit may have been changed to 18t.
