A quick look about south mimm’s on friday and just about every driver looked like a heart attack waiting to happen. Drivers medicals should take this into account.
Any serious medical condition and the entitlement is suspended, although is suspect there are a good few who should not be driving.
Says it all about transport when you have to have a medical at the relatively young age of 45, Let it be a warning to you! find a job where you take the goods out of a D.C or similar and not in.
I’ve always thought the medicals were just a money making scheme. A bit like MOTs, just scraps of paper to say its been done, not really saying it works well. The three I’ve had have been a waste of time, blood pressure, how are you feeling? See you in 5, that’s £60 please.
We have drivers from the other side of the Channel who can hardly walk, let alone get through the double door at our place (I won,t mention their BO )
I,m talking Giant Haystacks & Big Daddy size fellas

I’m glad you’re not my doctor, if you were, I would expect you to physically check my pulse, blood pressure etc. and not write me off on my appearance. Don’t judge a book by the cover.
LIke it or lump it, but one’s genetics are a lot more important than what you look like.
If you are a fit 40 year old, and both your parents are dead, then you’ve got less chance of making it to 50 than a fat 40 year old who’s parents are both still alive.
