can any of the older drivers running out of Liverpool in the early sixties especially on trunk to Newcastle /middlesborough /north east remember a driver who used to take his young son (possibly about 12/13 ) on night trunk with him? they used to stay in digs in both Gateshead and Stockton he worked for Miller and Gordon little woolton street off crown street Liverpool, before that he worked for Walter Hales fruit haulage (taken over by miller and Gordon) out of the fruit exchange Victoria street L`pool, must have been unusual for the time.
