Ive just taken my third drivers cpc course and part of it was on drivers hours and the wtd.I asked what i thought was a logical question and the bloke running the course didnt have an answer anyone on here have it.If you drive your maximum hours (9) 5 days a week that only leaves you 3 hours a week to load and unload even worse if you work every other saturday so how on earth are you supposed to do your job.Theres no way of averaging 48 per week Recently i heard of a firm making a driver take 2 weeks leave without pay to make sure he had his time off .This cant be right.
So anyone got any ideas on how you can tip and load each day within 36 minutes .If you have no chance of using poa and you run your 9 out every day the hours rules are totally unworkable,any thoughts?
