What happens if you cant get your card downloaded after 28 days can you still use it or is it illegal ?
It’s fine. As a driver your only requirement is to make the card available for downloading, not to ensure its downloading, that is up to your employer.
I’ve only had mine downloaded once this year, despite always asking the question “want to download my card” at the end of a series of shifts.
Okay to use it and you won’t overwrite any recent data on it as the card will hold something like 9 - 12 months data on it.
