Driverplus - Bradford

Driverplus Agency at Bradford

What a farce :imp: :imp: :imp: :imp: :imp:

Signed up and then told that after 12 weeks on PAYE that either I must go LTD or Umbrella or No work will be offered.

Wish I had something to record what he said, love to see him squirm out of saying that if he was reported to the authorities :exclamation: :exclamation:

Its the AWR, The Agency Workers Regulations which came into force on 01/10/2011, so its not just Driverplus, youll get it with every agency from now on.

glad i gave them a miss, i nearly left the agency i am with a couple of months to go with them, but decided against it. agency i am with are giving us a contract of employment, only 12 hours guarenteed but better than being threatened the way you are.

what you plan on doing■■?

go ltd, it’s only £20

I might see how things pan out, and if and only if i get more than 3 days work, then umbrella it will have to be, but as soon as a full time position comes along, then they can shove off

Why? He’s not doing anything illegal.

He no longer finds it beneficial to employ you on your current terms as the 12-week rule will leave him facing a financial and administrative overhead that he can afford to live without. He has informed you of his decision to terminate your agreement (as he is perfectly entitled to do) and has instead offered you work under a different structure on terms which will still benefit both of you to exactly the same extent as the last 12 weeks employment have.

He is under no obligation to offer you any work whatsoever, and you are under no obligation to accept any work under ANY terms as you are free to look elsewhere at any time.

I appreciate it may not be ideal for you, but if you were looking for employment stability then an temporary placement agency is the last place you should have looked. :unamused:

and also Pink lady, if you are going to live near South Elmsall, at least spell it right in your avatar.
