Driver qualification card

Hi, i have just passed my rigid cat c,and followed by module 4. just wondering when i get my driver qualification card would that display all the c vehicles at the back? or just c1 and c,and when i pass my artic c+e then i would need to send it off to be updated. i am talking about the driver qualification card and not the driving license, sorry for the confusement may i have caused lol.

The DQC will list all the LGV catagories on it whether you have them or not as the card just states what catagories are covered and not what your personal entitlements are

THE DRIVER SHORTAGE IS AN ADVERTISING MYTH - Generally more drivers than jobs in the UK
However, many newbies on this site have recently secured permanent full time employment :smiley:

C+E yes
If you have any D (PCV) licence (except D1 with a 101 restriction) then all those will be on there too

hi, i thought u said earlier whatever entitlemets you have on the driving license doesnt compare with the driver cpc card? as u mentioned above if i have d on my license that would be displayed, but when i said i dont have c+e that would be displayed also? your confusing me lol.

so for example if i dont have c+e on my license that would be displayed anyway on my driver cpc card?

if i have d on my license then that would be displayed on driver cpc card,only if i have it on my drving license as an entitlement?

the only current categries i have on my license is . b,b1,c1,c

Correct in regard to each licence catagory held
If you hold any type of C then all the Cs will be listed - same with Ds

If you do not hold any type of D then no Ds will be listed

Yes - but there is one exception which is the D1 with a 101 restriction as that means ‘not for hire or reward’ so therefore cannot be on a DQC to allow the holder to drive a D1 commercially

Description Category B1
3 or 4 wheeled light vehicles
Motor tricycles / quad cycles, 3 or 4 wheeled vehicles with an un-laden weight not exceeding 550kg.
