My license expires 2 February 2021. Nothing up to date on gov website. Tried without success to call Swansea.

If the Gov website hasnt been changed recently, then nothing has changed, surely? . I cant see the roll out of vaccines, or anything else, will change anything over the next couple of months.
Get in before a medical is needed again, and you might* save some time and expense.
*Only valid for a year, instead of 5, and you will need one annually from age 65, so there may be no financial gain for you overall.

Just checked DVLA site and I have got another year, No medical, no fee, no nothing.
