break 10.10-10.55 45 mins (okay till now) expected to be finished by 16.00 but then told to wait so poa
poa 10.55-12.25
drive 12.25-14.30
work 14.30-16.05
drive 16.05-18.00
break 18.00-18.15
drive 18-15-18.30
18.30 end

its being caught out having to use poa with a break thats confussing me did i need to take another 45 or did the fifteeen surfice
thanks

If my calcs are correct,in run 2 you drove for 4h.15m,so no 45 minutes is required.
Your drive/work from 12.25,until your finish at 18.30,is 6h.05m,so you did right to have a 15 minute break at 18.00,wtd laws and all that.
I might have it all wrong,so don’t quote me on that.

Not quite perfectly. The 15 minute break wasn’t required and if it hadn’t been taken he would have finished at 18:15 and less than 6 hours work from when he resumed after the POA at 12:25.

You might have it all wrong indeed. :stuck_out_tongue: Without the 15 minute break he would have finished at 18:15, 5 hours and 50 minutes work from the end of the POA so no break required.

thanx james tahograph coffeholic you put my mind at rest…
