20 April 2013 ? ? ?

Snap.

I bet, I may be wrong, that was the chap in the wheelchair rolling past directly in front of the truck or some such and the drive not seeing him.

RIP.

Good to see the csi started already

I was told it was a goldstar driver

The wheel chair incident was the other week it was an accident

Yesterday a driver rumoured to be a goldstar driver had an heart attack while waiting for his box

Rip to both

That was weeks ago just outside the dock. Apparently the poor man in the wheel chair decided to cut thru stationary traffic, as he did the traffic started to move he was out of sight and unfortunately got crushed. The driver worked for a local firm called Reid brothers.

I personally know said 72 year old driver and he is a young 72, still goes the gym keeps himself well, accidents happen regardless of age, am sure the same would be said if it was a new young driver, no body is perfect mate

I was going to comment until I realised it was the wrong story.

Would the headline have been any different if it was a shop assistant who had suffered a heart attack?

The fact the driver was 72 means nothing, as mark h says he’s a young 72, and could keep driving for years to come.
