Driver cpc

Hello peeps.

my cpc comes to an end soon (i had to get it as i passed a few days after sept 2009 so didnt acquire grandad rites)

so did the initial traning.

has anyone done the full 35 hours yet? if so how much did it cost?

can you do a package that does the full 35 hours in a week long course? or is it only 7 hours at a time?

sorry if this has been asked a million times.

also, ive seen a few times an ‘upload fee’ whats that about?

That’s what I did, a week in the classroom, I did it with Mainstream in Sittingbourne and it was £350.

In the current Truckstop news, there is an advert for the entire course for £149 including four nights’ accommodation (in Newbury).

Re upload fee; it’s something I’ve never give much thought to, but how can anyone justify charging £8 or whatever for a few computer keystrokes? I suspect it’s somewhat akin to a £70 admin fee charged by insurance companies to change some details on your policy. Robbing gits.

Just completed mine today, did the full week in one go. Cost was £225 for the week including upload fee, coffee tea bickies & fruit. Done in Sunderland with Jason at Uget training. He has a few vacancies left but is filling up fast if you still need to get some done. PM me for more details.

sunderland isnt quite possible seeing as im in southampton!

thanks anyway thought buddy

I don’t blame you, it was a struggle to get there from Newcastle. But it’s an indication of what you can pay, just shop around & see what’s available.

Mine cost me £300 all in this month. Got a decent training provider for that price though, rather than one of the ‘Mickey Mouse’ outfits that abound out there.

£50 a day choice of courses Newcroft Tilbury and that included the upload great value i thought
