Driver cpc in daily star

I believe the Daily Star is running a special article on DCPC tomorrow 22nd March 2012.

Apparently this will be a 10x8 editorial feature … whatever that means.

I only know becasue they tried to seel me an advert on the page

So watch out for the daily star tomorrow

Hopefully an expose’ on what a rip off money making scheme it is. If maritime wasn’t putting me through for free, I’d be one of the many looking for a career change

I imagine they will want their pound of flesh in return then.

Doubtful if they are trying to sell advertising next to the article.

Yea, it’s just like when The Sun runs an article on how wonderful it is to be a trucker and how many jobs there are screaming out for drivers, you just know that there is going to be a large ad by a training broker on the next page.

When they run a similar article in The Times I’ll let you know.

When they run a similar article in The Times, the advert is more likely to be for mobile phones

   Fair point!

Did anybody blink and miss it?

What a load of crap. Apparently drivers have to be trained or something

Glad i didn’t pay the £350 for the advert

The daily star doesnt give a monkeys about the drivers CPC… it likes the advertising revenue from doing a “special”

We have in the past at TruckNet been offered quite an extraodinary amount of money to promote a certain company, but because we felt that the company wasnt acting in the best interest of users here we turned the offer down

That doesnt make us hero’s  just probably sensible enough to know we dont want to ■■■■ you all off

I don’t even trust Horse and Hound since that dog was seen riding a police horse with the PM in hot pursuit.

Was it Karl Marx who said religion was the opium of the people, now its the mindless ■■■■■ thats put out in the tabloids and on TV :unamused: keeps the masses ignorant and diverted from thinking about what is actually going on. Really ■■■■■■ me off but not as much as the morons who watch and read the crap thereby encouraging them to keep producing it :imp:

It’s a good way to do it. Out on a local job talking diesel for a few hours then you get a certificate

Got it in one. Tabloids and daytime TV are two of the main reasons I left my cushy job recently, to go back on the roads (of Central London!). I just could not stand any more of it during the two and a half hours of breaktimes (Honestly) and the people that lapped it up…
