The odds on every EU driver sticking together is 0 but and its a very big but if we did. we could get the cpc scrapped looks like were all doing the cpc or stop driving.

That test will come on the 9th September 2014   Mass panic as companies have a yard full of standing trucks and cows are left unmilked, bread turning green on otherwise empty supermarket shelves and skips and bins are overflowing. Roads blocked with cars that have run out of fuel and planes crashing into broken down ships at sea because the spare parts were not delivered.

It will be scaremongering not seen since the millennium bug :stuck_out_tongue:

Anyway in the list of exclusions, I found a loophole :stuck_out_tongue:

I am going to teach myself CPC.

List of Exemptions

Provided that the vehicle is used in the course of driving lessons for any person wishing to obtain a driving licence or a Driver CPC

I knew that, just a simple keyboard error  Must use number pad :bulb:

Wheelnut, probably not now Greece has gone bust Turkey stand no chance./quote]

Turkey’s economy is in better shape than the majority of the EU - growth next year has been predicted at over 5% - they still have a large manufacturing industry, unlike countries like Greece, & even the UK!. The main reason Turkey has a problem with EU membership is the Cyprus issue.

Also, Turkey is a net exporter of water & I think it was Churchill, amongst many, who said that the next world conflict would be fought over water supplies, so the EU is desperate to get them on-board.

It looked like I was misquoted, however, the Politically Correct would like you to believe that Cyprus is the sticking point, when the main reason is that it would be the first mainly Muslim country (99%) to gain EU membership, the fact that it is the 15th strongest country in terms of GDP and as you say has a profitable manufacturing industry where the economy of Greece is based on Ouzo, old ships and tourists. The other problem is that it is a very small part of the country attached to Europe (3%), the rest is beyond the Bosphorus and attached to the Asia.

Although Cyprus is split in two. I somehow doubt the Turks would be willing to split up their own country and relocate the capital and call it Constantinople

Sarkozy said that if Turkey are allowed in then it was clear that Morocco would want to follow and the only reason not to allow them in would be geographical, not because of their religious beliefs.

It will be a hard decision
