Anybody know anything else about this??
How awful, fingers crossed for the driver and I hope they catch the [zb] who did it but this is EXACTLY why I avoid getting involved in road rage incidents, wouldn’t stop unless I have to and certainly wouldn’t get out. Too many nut jobs about

Yep I’m a lot more laid back than I used to be on these type of occasions.
I’ve seen the day when I’d be mad keen up for it if somebody tried to deliberately ■■■■ me up in some way, but nowadays, (even though incidents are much more frequent ) I just raise above it, tut,.shake my head and call him a ■■■■ under my breath.
In my head I’m still 35, but the plain fact is…I ain’t, and as you say the world is full of nutters ready and willing to pull a blade on you,.as this poor bloke found out.
Btw a mate tells me this guy is a walking floor driver for Dents.
This is so sad to hear about - the mind truly boggles. When the article said air ambulance I thought how could some fisty cuffs lead to that? To hear of a knife being pulled on a driver going about his work is absolutely horrendous. This biker should be locked up for life.

He’s not EE - although his family name obviously has roots there. He appears to have USAnian origins.

Believe it or not people aren’t tied to where their name is originally from! For instance I have a French name though I’m not French, sadly these days with this tin pot country

Thankfully I’ve always been this way, just let everything go over my head!

Be lucky if he is still in the country, probably got a lift out in a floppy truck,… I might be wrong, but they have a habit of disappearing.

Even if he was Jack Spot, who’s family tree can be traced back to the Magna Carta and all still living within the sounds of Bow bells, i’d still not want some bugger accused of plunging a knife into someone else allowed out until tried.
An argument might get out of hand, someone pushes the other and before you know a punch has been landed, that’s understandable if stupid, but carrying and being prepared to use that knife in a bloody road altercation?

Armed attacker run over in possible attempted car/truck hijacking/theft.
I almost ran over an arctic driver in Walsall recently when he slammed on the brakes in slowish moving traffic and jumped out right into my path (almost took his door off too). Not exaggerating, he was out the cab like a madman right into my path (I was in right hand lane and him left).
He started shouting at an Asian lad in the car in front who then got out and it all kicked off. Arctic driver swung a punch which glanced the other guy’s chin and pretty sure he regretted it in short order. The Asian guy was much smaller but clearly had some boxing training under his belt. Used decent footwork to stay out of range then cracked him a couple of belters at which point he backed off and gave it the lip instead.
Was most amusing to see him get put in his place but almost got him squashed by my fully laden 32t dustcart.

There is a general right to bail enshrined in English law. This is of course subject to exceptions and exclusions, but sadly “he’s a nasty piece of work” isn’t one of them - nor is seriousness of the alleged offence. assets.publishing.service.gov.u … gov-uk.pdf for a summary.

Well it appears the accused is a good old local boy who carries a 6 inch knife and stabs a 60 year old truck driver for reasons yet unknown to us so who on earth put you in charge of saying who stays and who go’s??
So-Called ‘Patriots’ and their Jingoistic Rhetoric are the truly pathetic lads but unfortunately you won’t be short of company around here.
What the heck, why would you abuse him for his opinion, it’s not just EE citizens who commit crime, I assure you… the NHS is there to save lives , he pays his taxes entitled to use it… Also, if he is involved in accident, I do believe the cost of the a,balance as treatment would be charged to his insurers or other parties insurers…stop being a racist, plenty of EE citizens have gone to the UK and settled, I migrated to Australia in 2012, am now a citizen, should I be told to leave by a native because I don’t share an accent… your a disgrace not Luke… just remember when a polish nurse helps stress you refuse.
