Ended up on wrong road in Warrington the other day, came up to a 14 9 bridge, my trailer says 15, but measures about 3’’ (or so) less.
0 to 1mph crawler, suspension dropped, head and shoulders out of window and away I went extremely gingerly.
Happened to notice a kid just beside videoing me on his phone (presumably hoping for the worst) I suddenly went from focusing my 100% concern on trailer roof, to thinking of the disgrace and embarrassment of appearing on here, and all the stick I would get .
Think I’ll buy a truck sat nav after all.
Waiting for the drama queens telling me what I should and ‘’‘definitely should not’’ have done, but bear in mind I have never clipped a bridge in 36 years, so I must be doing something right.
watching eddie’s trucks and trailers[sad I know]but one fan said and I quote THEY REALLY ARE THE KINGS OF THE ROAD AREN’T THEY unquote,i say yeah right, they make just the same mistakes as any of us when on the road, their fans do make me laugh

Used to do the same coming out of dorchester when on city just drop the trailer and back of the unit and crawl under as long as you know the high what’s the problem
Don’t think the bridge bashing / drinking would be a major issue , but the fact the driver took a filthy dirty truck out on the roads like that would be , especially the fact it’s now plastered all over the Internet , think he’ll be dragged over the coals for that , plenty of truck washes about so no excuse

are you for ■■■■■■■ real? I’m now convinced you are a troll.

Any suggestion that DD is involved invokes the question “How come any at-work culture of drinking on duty wasn’t picked up earlier?”
…Unless of course, it’s because there was no drinking. A driver might be persuaded to take the rap to save the company a few quid for example (conspiracy hat on now)
I posted on here before about this
I was working in eh traffic office one day when a driver looked “well refreshed” from the night before.
Trying to be fair I questioned him about it and working on the well we’ve probably all done it rule I suggested he got his head down in his cab for an hour while he waited for is load.
Christ on a bike he rang the union I was dragged in and basically told in no uncertain terms that I was being a c*nt for suggesting it and I was never to go down that route again.
Well im mortified I cannot use my ‘OMG how excited was the photographer’ subtle knob gag due to the phallus already being spotted early doors. ■■■■■ lads give me chance to catch up.
It’s a daily occurrence for Eddy and perfectly acceptable given the driver obtained his license by ‘other means’ and this being his first time in a truck. Eddy now plans to ‘train’ the driver in order to recoup the insurance excesses from future earnings.
Ive (seriously) never got my head around the Eddie phenomena, what is it with these Eddie spotters that they see fit to follow this shower around constanty taking pictures
