the VICTORY ships have the connection to my arcipelago in a tragic meaning ,out in the UTÖ isle 1947 christmas night one of them PARK VICTORY sank in a storm and 7 of the crow did not see the following day, :frowning: :frowning: :frowning:

Mt Ragny broken in two on the atlantic 1970 front sank and took 6 lives ,back float some days and 31 was saved ,a couple of the saved was from our arcipelago

Never seen one of those before. Was the cab coachbuilt or welded-up steel pressings? What a shame Sisu did not export their work more enthusiastically in the 1950s and '60s. They could have made enough sales to keep up with those other two Scandinavian makes, whose names have slipped my memory, for the purposes of this post! Their design work was- or at least, appeared to be- well up to the European standard: the 1962 tilt cab, for instance, was ahead of everything else, this side of the Atlantic.

By the way, your recent drawings are great- the lorries and boats look superb, with a bit of detail in the background. Just my opinion. Please keep at it! :slight_smile:
