this was one of the first british motors i learned to know. owned one(corgi)from 65 to 72 when it finally get under the hammer    ,strong motor it was,had two trailers whit unloading under the trailer,do you remember

bma The Contractor was a very good wagon for what it was designed for and very well put together I drove both the junior which was about 9 feet 6 inches wide and the big ones which were a bit more ■■■■■■■■■■ as they were about 11 feet 6 inches wide and shod on big tyres but they were rated at 240 GTW but would handle 300 tons plus comfortably and did so
cheers Johnnie

Awesome ASG Scania

Hello BMA you have made a great job on that Marathon it just looks like it had returned from the middle-east, you are right about the day cab ones they look a bit odd, even worse when pulling a flat trailer.
I think you are a SCANIA fan going by the number of Scania drawings, how about doing a book of your drawings now theres an idea. Eddie.

hej pihlberg 182,we have same thinking it seems
eddie your right in i love scanias, but i love all lorries, the big reason i have drawn moust scanias is i,ll be working whit and owning scannies so long they are in my bones, don,t need to check a pic to draw a scannie(not often),even other lorries like volvo m-b and daf iveco i can recall so you know them fron my drawings, but we never had other british in lot,s then ford and bedford,so i,ll have to do some training to get your motors in memory, but i,ll reading this forum to get insiration, like this.

from the aussie tread i got the idea for this  .
i have a idea to do a so called coloring book for lorryentusiasts, but have to find some to edit and publish in that case, yours benkku

You sure have led an interesting and varied career bma.!! I suppose you can be likened to a haulier that operates from the Western Isles in Scotland i.e. theres always a stretch of sea between you and the collection/delivery point.Cheers Dennis.
