I’ve been tasked with finding a decent lock for my new drag because I will be leaving it parked in lay-bys and so on. So far I’ve found a bulldog one thats £150+vat but does anybody have any others to suggest I look at? Cost is not an issue (within reason) but don’t want anything cheap n nasty.
I use a Bulldog King pin lock on my trailer and have never had any trouble with it. Seems good quality.

Home made is best 57 mm top hat pin ,hole through the end ,decent pad lock and bit of a shield welded to a 57 mm hole plate to keep the bolt croppers off the lock .
To be honest I’d put the ball in the bosses court, cos we all know what’ll happen if it all go’s ■■■’s up with one that you’ve picked.
No help with the hitchlock i’m afraid, but it must be worth fitting a theft location tracker (unless your boss has trackers in the vehicles anyway) somewhere discreet i would have thought, one that can recharge itself whilst the lights are on, which should i expect give it several days power, enough to find it should it be lifted.
Yeah good idea. I’ll suggest that. We’ve ordered the bulldog lock today.
