nice acknowledgement, and I absolutely agree. I would guess that he just got caught up unwittingly in the gay politics stuff, as the era was not a tolerant one - at least not publicly - for males of this demographic. For some reason, I feel that brian epstein went down the same tracks a few years later. In no way does this attempt to put the two men level in the genius stakes!

Sadly I don’t think its much more tolerant, just the state doesn’t persecute people for their ■■■■■■■■■. Plenty of other people out there and on here who still have big problems with people’s ■■■■■■■■■.
