DPD Night Trunk

You absolutely can stop for a p**s. This subject comes up on a regular basis. Only once have I ever been questioned as to why I was on the services. The depot I was driving to in a van, which by pure coincidence was Snetterton, rang up asking where I was and when the office bod tracked me I was at the services. I gave an excuse and nothing came of it. I’ve stopped many times and never been questioned. I rang up the first time for a stop code and the response I got told me they’re not really bothered with it. He never gave me one and this was a manager. I think if you keep your head down and do the job you get left alone which grants you a certain amount of freedom.

Cant say I’ve ever been accused of stealing a trailer when off route either.

The trucks are low roof, poverty spec and kept for over 10 years but as a depot driver, especially one well over 100 mile away, you’ll get a newish unit which will be yours to keep. Not like hub jockeys who cab hob.

Started seeing day cabs back on the fleet too. WTFs that all about :open_mouth:
