Doyle's tipper

Muckaway:
Scania 730; Do you drive for this outfit? The reason I ask is because one of their drivers is always on the FB page “British Tipper Trucks” posing questions about it and saying how people who don’t like it are just jealous. The way you’ve posted sounds spookily like the style their drivers do.
Wildfire, they do do muck shifting, I’ve seen them at Earthlines’ tip near Oxford. Apparently they weren’t keen on the “tip conditions”.
If the wagon was mine I’d be embarassed more by the subject of the artwork, “Country Legends”. What next “Yorkie Bars”?

Do I ■■■■ drive for Doyle’s I joined British tipper trucks on Facebook but I left because of how many times this ■■■■■■■ lorry was uploaded by ‘Russell pukka trucks Oliver’ says it all with a ■■■■■■■ name on Facebook like that haha

F-reds:
My only question is, if you are going to spend that much money blinging up a wagon, why oh why would you not make it look like Optimus Prime■■?

Optimus Prime was a Peterbilt

 You’ll understand what I mean by his “pukka” style of posting then.
“Does my lorry look silly, and should I worry? I don’t worry. My lorry has a microwave and a white dashboard in it…Please like my new picture of my lorry at a show. It looks the same as the picture I uploaded yesterday. You liked it then. I don’t mind if you hate my lorry. You’re just jealous. Have you liked this post yet? You’re just jealous if you don’t.”
By the time you’ve read it, you’ll get an alert of the posting of a photo of an everyday Lafarge Tarmac Volvo 8wheeler waiting to tip asphalt. Which the same few will like just because the person who liked their photo of an everyday Hanson Volvo 8wheeler liked theirs.
Then they’ll like each others’ comments… :unamused:

SCANIA730:
Just been told this truck costs 200 grand what’s your thoughts? Personally I think it’s OTT for a tipper, just for show boating imo!

lol any idea what it tares off it be lucky to get 17t on.

The Pukka Trucker posts on FB about that. Says people asking him that question annoys him because they do day work and by the load…
…So I take it 18t then?

Well if I ordered road planings by the load and that thing turned up I wouldn’t be happy ffs. No good off road/ tip work, would eat cab mountings them Scania bushes are poor to start with.

■■■■ payload ain’t it I hate all the Doyle’s lorries the airbrushing looks tacky with all the extras imo

■■■■■.

I doubt if they work on tonnage with that, more likely paid by load or daywork? Heck, the old Leyland Reiver 6x4 would carry 17 tonnes at 24 ton gross, and a Cargo would scrape 18 tonne payload at 26 gross, not my idea of a working truck at all but if you have the cash to chuck around then who are we to put a downer on it.

Pete.

Bored now.

I think it’s a hideous monstrosity, but each to his own and all that…

Pukka trucker was the fool taking the ■■■■ out of the v8 Scania.fan club as Stan the Scania man. I guess them videos will stop now.
As for the firm involved heard a few non complimentary rumours about them but no idea how true they are.

my first job as a driver was with pete osbourne when he had his custom trucks ,at first it was sound as i was very young but i soon got fed up with comments off other drivers ,the fun fair as come to town and i bet u r on crap money etc and his trucks werent half as bad as that, all i can say the driver must be very thick skinned and childish to think that looks good and put up the stick he will get, :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: :frowning:

Pukka trucker is full of himself

bigtruck:
Pukka trucker is full of himself

hes a better man than me ,i saw him on tv and seen him on twitter very very sad :frowning: :frowning: he reminds me of that bloke off the fast show ,a little bit wooo a little bit weee im a cockney ,but a fat version

Muckaway:
Don’t know about your neck of the woods Pete, but of the subbies I encountered in my (thankfully short) tenure with the Red Arrows, the most blinged, “keepin’ it lit” brigade whinged about rates the most. The quiet guys with the basic motors just plodded on and were the best blokes to work with.

We didn’t really have any like that Nathan, most kept things simple with no signwriting etc as you didn’t want your name all over the truck when nipping through weight limits etc! The only ‘blinged’ trucks were owned by the Tarmac od’s from Bayston Hill, Shrewsbury, who came up to our place on night work and blinded us on the narrow lanes with about 1000 watts of lighting. :unamused: Lads like Rob (1970 Commer) and Dan Punchard will agree with me that that Scania would have a few scrapes down the side from the overgrown trees and shrubbery that lined the lanes to Ballidon quarry, most of us moved the mirrors in tight against the cab otherwise they had a very short lifespan! :open_mouth:

Pete.

They had two trucks at a show in Ireland last year,an elderly woman was letting everyone know how much they cost. Cream crackers

My mate had an r400 highline with thompsons loadmaster body the can only carry just over 18 ton so guess this can carry a lot less

Would love to see this try and tip on one of the london or essex tips driver would be crying I think r or g cab highline looks good as an 8 wheel tipper topline cab looks rediculous :open_mouth:
