Does anybody know anything about downtons Carrington regarding the type of work, I know the wage is £8.50 ph, I contacted them today and they were the first firm that seemed interested even though I don’t have the 2 year experience. Thanks in advance for any info.
P.s I’ve searched the threads and there is stuff regarding downtons but not the Carrington depot.

probably walking floor out of sacia papermill/ power station. Easy 
That’s the paper reel contract.Do a bit out of there now and again.Easy enough work.Decent kit to.

Yeah that’s it.Saica.Reels go down to Thatcham,Norwich,Yate,Weston super mare. To name a few.
I know Downton do the bales,that are sorted round the back,not sure if they collect reels.Their trailers in the yard used to be full of bales.

I think but not 100% sure that Runcorn plan the carringtonton trucks.
Not the best outfit to work for but by no means the worst.
All trucks well maintained.

They do the bales (Drop the empty trl pick up the loaded one) out of Home Bargains @ Knowsley to Saica and sometimes to Elsa at Stockport. Easy work.
