Downloading Music

Not really Transport except I need a few new CD for the truck.

I have spent several hours today downloading some albums from Tesco Extra.

Anyway, The first album I burnt works fine, then every other one wants a licence. I have a licence for the tracks but it doesnt want to regognise it.

What, How do I get my fix of Blues?

Forget Tesco Extra…try Allofmp3.com

It will cost you, about 10c per Mb and it needs a credit card. No digital rightsmanagement. I’ve used it for a few years with no problems. Have a look.

No one using P2P anymore?

I use Limewire and Azureus, but you need a good anti virus if you use them.

BT block P2P use on their network they claim its slows it down.

Personally i would NEVER use BT they are way too expensive but each to their own.

BT have sorted the line but I’ve gone with Tiscali BB as it doesn’t have a limit on downloading (subject to ‘fair use’ policy! ).

BT wanted much more than the £14.99 that Tiscali gets from me.

Trust me, they don’t. I’m on BT and I have a P2P connection on at this very moment. In fact there is a P2P connection on my PC 24/7.

I’ve used most of the popular variations in the past, all with BT

Me neither. TV shows are a different matter however.

Your chances of getting done for downloading from the internet are about as much as winning the Lottery probably even less. Anyone who has been done has most likely had their machine at it 24/7 AND held too many files on their HD for uploading too. You will have no problem downloading the occasional ‘Albums worth’ of music, and even less again if you burn it onto Disc for the enjoyment of, and clear it off your system.

Limewire is definately my recommendation for downing occasionally (2-3 albums worth per day) . For the more ‘committed’ fan check out newsbin.com . Rather than me ramble on about what that is have a look and read it. It is quite incredible what is available via the Newsgroups and this little baby will give you access to all of it

I use morpheus,

www.morpheus.com

Not quite … it has to be one of the countries on their list. 2 of the 3 countries I need to call most often aren’t on ‘the list’. :unamused: :unamused:
