This I can agree with. In the interests of giving TNUK members a fair appraisal of the situation I took it upon myself to check this out.
Casemates Square is a pleasant way to spend a summers evening a wide selection of pubs and take aways you can get a good meal from most pubs for around £5.00. live music in some pubs and only 10-15 minute walk across the runway back to La Liniea and the customs compound.

B1 GGk, I actually live along the coast but the La Linea feria will be in late July as always. There is so much construction work going on you would not beleive it. Sheperds marina is a huge construction sit, they have filled in parts of it and built upmarket apartments on it. Then the rest of it has a new casino and loads of floating resturants that should all be open this summer. They are just about to start building a new airport terminal and moving the road to run round one end of the runway. I think they are just starting preliminary work on what’s called the Eastside project with a new marina and apartments. The place is booming because of all the internet gambling companies based down there. There making millions, no make that billions.

Thank you for posting those. I never thought i would see them again. I think that was the first Scania that they sold in the uk with there own built in retarder. Prior to that you had to have them retro fitted by someone like Telma. I bought it for a driver who was known as Steve the vest as he was getting through a set of unit and trailer brakes every 6 to 8 weeks. Terrific truck.
