********* CALAIS UPDATE *********** *****
DUE TO THE OPERATIONAL DIFFICULTIES AND THE SEVERE WEATHER WARNING CUSTOMERS MUST CONTACT THE PORT OF DOVER BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO SHIP ANY LIVE ANIMALS ******** ****

CALAIS UPDATE — 1600 HRS - 17TH FEBRUARY **** DOVER — CALAIS
At the moment there is no Operation Stack (but it could come back at anytime) and the delays at Dover are minimal. We can almost load the trucks straight on to a ship.B U T The trip between Dover and Calais can take much much longer than the usual 90 minutes as some of the ships have to wait outside Calais for a berth to become available. So please be prepared for a long transit time between the two ports. CALAIS — DOVER Queues are building up in Calais and even if you book in NOW at the port you will not ship until 2300 hours. B U T The good news is that once the ship leaves Calais there are no further delays as it will cross in regulation time and get straight into Dover. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO NOT YET KNOW HOW MUCH LONGER THESE DELAYS WILL CONTINUE, BUT REST ASSURED WE ARE DOING EVERYTHING IN OUR POWER TO IMPROVE A DIFFICULT SITUATION THAT WAS NOT OF OUR MAKING.
